華埠金龍大遊行華洋同歡15萬人潮破紀錄

洛杉磯第113屆金龍大遊行(Golden Dragon Parade)28日在華埠隆重登場，當天晴空萬里，上午開始華埠即擁入大量華洋民眾。遊行隊伍由125個方陣組成，包括10多輛花車、30多輛貴賓車、以及數十支舞獅、舞龍、武術、雜技、舞蹈、社團、樂儀隊、宗親隊及警察馬隊等，次第展開，蜿蜒2英哩，吸引了15萬人潮，掌聲、鼓聲、歌聲、喝采聲、鞭炮聲、警笛聲、摩托聲等響徹雲霄，整個華埠融在狂歡氣氛中。
這項洛杉磯年度盛事，也是羅省中華總商會歡慶中國龍年的重頭戲于下午1時正展開，遊行隊伍從華埠圖書館前出發，沿著Hills街往北行至Bernard街，然後右轉百老匯街南行，遊行至華埠進口的龍門牌坊，節目長達兩個多小時。遊行隊伍由中華總商會打頭陣，華埠小姐團隊花車居中，國泰銀行、駐洛杉磯台北經文處等單位的花車相隨，一路浩浩蕩蕩，陣容壯觀。
駐洛杉磯台北經文處處長龔中誠伉儷在搭乘的禮車上用英文、中文向民眾打招呼拜年、並恭祝大家新年發財。在鑼鼓聲及鞭炮聲帶領中，僑委會、台美商會、南加台灣旅館公會贊助的花車,
由美國客家會館邱啟宜僑務委員引導的台灣電子三太子陣頭,配合鄉土音樂,獲得參觀的華洋朋友贊譽,紛紛爭取合照,並於每一路口,台客舞兿交流,深獲主流單位和媒體友人激賞，相當搶眼。預估人潮破15萬紀錄,也吸引了各大電視台採訪。由於今年是龍年，遊行隊伍的裝扮及花車上的裝飾多半以龍做為主題，還有大型龍年吉祥物，路邊還有許多民眾戴上龍造型的頭飾，相當搶眼。國會眾議員趙美心、華人女婿洛縣警局局長李貝卡、洛杉磯市檢察長楚坦尼奇、加州參議員劉璿卿、加州眾議員伍國慶都參加遊行向華人拜年。
